B&L Welcomes Acme Alliance to the SaaS Frontier
US Manufacturing Facility to Switch to Odyssey
Bridgman, MI, August 22, 2013 - Acme Alliance, LLC has returned to the B&L client family. A former user of B&L's BLIS-400, Acme had switched to another ERP vendor several years ago. In early July 2013, Acme decided to pursue the SaaS option on Odyssey as the best ERP solution to support their continual lean improvement process.
Acme Alliance, LLC has produced die cast components since 1964 and began working on creating a lean manufacturing environment in 2001. Acme is an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer whose value stream production system was established to control process flow, reduce waste and improve quality. State of the art Buhler Die Cast equipments provides the latest technologies and statistical-process control (SPC) method at the US facility where Acme manufactures zinc and aluminum die casting on 23 CNC machines with 115 employees.
Scrap Control, Materials Inventory, Physical Inventory and Shop Floor Manager are just some of the lean manufacturing-focused Odyssey modules Acme will go live with in April 2014. Using "B&L's 5 Steps to Successful ERP Conversion" plan, Odyssey SaaS will be implemented at Acme's US manufacturing center in Northbrook, Illinois.
