NEW B&L CLASS FOCUSES ON ACCOUNTING

Bridgman, MI, September 4, 2014 - B&L Information Systems, global leader in ERP software for foundries and die casters, has announced a new training option for clients. Kristine Craft, Manager - Professional Services at B&L Information Systems, noted a keen interest both in clients attending webinars and those attending the B&L users' conference, Spectrum, for accounting based information. To bridge that knowledge gap for clients, Craft worked with B&L staff member, Lori Hnanicek, to create an accounting class which builds off the Odyssey system settings.

The two-day class is designed to cater to new Odyssey clients or clients interested in more day-to-day accounting training. Topics to be covered include: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Statements, General Ledger and Sales Analysis. This class will include Odyssey system settings, an in-depth look at the finance modules; hands-on module training and assistance building company-specific financial statements.

In addition to co-creating the Odyssey Accounting class, Hnanicek will also be co-instructing the class. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Cornerstone University and began her career in accounting. She has held accounting positions at an advertising agency, a credit union, and a manufacturing facility. Hnanicek has been with B&L since 2006 and trains all B&L support desk staff.

Marcia Mullins, Project Consultant, will be the other instructor for the Odyssey Accounting class. Mullins joined B&L in 2007 as a Support Specialist and provided phone support for technical problem resolution. Prior to joining B&L, she spent over 20 years in the manufacturing sector as a financial administrator where she oversaw the installation of various ERP systems, created processes, and trained finance staff.
