STAFF UPDATE AT B&L INFORMATION SYSTEMS
DJ Medlin and Marcia Mullins Promoted
Bridgman, MI, February 7, 2013 - As part of an intensified focus on providing extraordinary customer service, B&L Information Systems announced several internal staffing promotions for 2013.
DJ Medlin has been promoted to Project Consultant. In her new role, she will oversee the planning, integration, and staff training during implementation of B&L's OdysseyTM software. DJ joined B&L in 2007 as a Support Consultant focused on providing training to both new and existing clients. Her prior IT support positions with both a die cast company and foundry, give DJ a well-rounded understanding of the unique challenges and concerns experienced by metal casters and foundries when installing new ERP software.
Marcia Mullins has been promoted to Training Analyst. In her new role she will provide training and support to both new and existing clients. Marcia joined B&L in 2007 as a Support Specialist and provided phone support for technical problem resolution. Prior to joining B&L, Marcia spent over 20 years in the manufacturing sector as a financial administrator where she oversaw the installation of various ERP systems, created processes, and trained finance staff. Marcia has a deep respect for the accuracy of data and importance of controlling costs.
"Customers are our first priority. How to best support them and provide exceptional service is always part of our staffing decisions," states Brenda Povlock, Vice President, Client Services. "Repositioning our internal staff to support the increased number of SaaS installations and additional training needs of our expanded clientele just makes sense. We will be continuing to grow our support staff in the coming months."
B&L Information Systems is a global leader in providing integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) for metal casters. All B&L products, whether client server application or Software as a Service (SaaS), are designed with the specific needs of metal casters in mind.
