Philip Laney retires after 38+ years, marking a new era of leadership

Bridgman, MI, October 30, 2024 – B&L Information Systems, the leading provider of ERP software solutions for the foundry and die casting industries, announces the retirement of longtime President Philip Laney, who has dedicated over 38 years of service to the company his father, Dick Laney, founded in 1976. Philip’s customer-focused leadership and commitment to innovation have been instrumental in shaping B&L’s solutions to meet the evolving needs of the metalcasting industry. Transitioning B&L to a Cloud/SaaS based software company was Philip's most recent accomplishment.

Kevin Ramirez steps into the role of President with 25 plus years of global experience working with various Machine tool manufactures, CAD/CAM software & shop floor business system solutions. Most recently Ramirez worked as the President of SigmaTEK Systems, LLC a business unit of Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions.
