BLIS-GUI Updates

Bridgman, MI, January 7, 2013 - As originally announced at the 2011 Spectrum, B&L is now in the final stages of sunsetting  BLIS- GUI (Graphical User Interface).Users of BLIS-GUI should be aware of the following:

• The final BLIS-GUI Product Release is 7.3.  In Release 7.4, any screen changes which impact the GUI will be rendered in a text-based screen similar to green screen.
• B&L no longer offers additional BLIS-GUI licenses. Client licenses are limited to the number currently owned.
• After November 30, 2013 B&L will not be able to acquire new server licenses from Rocket Software, the third-party provider of license code for AS400/i5.  Upgrading to a new AS400/i5 after November 30, 2013 will mean that the BLIS-GUI will no longer function.

B&L will continue to support and upgrade BLIS-400, BLIS-EDI, BLIS-MMI, BLIS-DC, and BLIS-MPC. All functionality will remain intact
