B&L INFORMATION SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIP WINNER

Recipient of Dick Laney Memorial Scholarship

Bridgman, MI, July 17, 2024 – B&L Information Systems announced the 2024 recipient of the Dick Laney Memorial Scholarship, Will Ruszkowski. The scholarship was established in 2007 as a memorial to B&L Information System’s founder, Dick Laney and this year brings the total number of scholarship recipients to eighteen.

William attended high school at Culver Military Academy and will be attending Washington University St. Louis studying pre-med. Will is the son of B&L employee, Stephanie Ruszkowski, a software developer.

William qualified as an individual runner for Indiana State Cross Country 2022 & 2023 and was also team captain for both Cross Country (2023) and Track 2024. This fall, he plans to be a collegiate athlete at Washington University of St. Louis for both Cross Country and Track. In his spare time, William practices and races in marathons, volunteers at a few local hospitals and Doctor's offices, and has been a caddie at Long Beach Country Club for the past 5 years.

The scholarship is available to children of current B&L employees who attend accredited colleges after high school graduation.
