B&L Information System Deploys MR2 for Odyssey 4.7

Bridgman, MI, May 18, 2015 - Continuing the momentum begun by the 2015 launch of Odyssey's browser-based Web User Interface (UI), B&L Information Systems, the leader in ERP software technology for foundries and die casters, has announced Maintenance Release 2 for Odyssey 4.7.

This general availability release encompasses both the Windows UI and Web UI. Software enhancements in Odyssey 4.7 MR2 include submissions from the Odyssey Customer Feedback Forum, such as adding customer requested fields to various screens. Examples of these user requested enhancements include:

  • The shipping transaction screen, in addition to now including the Tare Weight, has data export functionality.
  • New fields available for column selection in the production history screen include: Labor Hours, Lunch Hours, Break Hours, and Down Hours Labor.

For clients who host Odyssey on their own servers, also known as "on premise", Odyssey 4.7 MR2 information is available in the B&L customer portal (Customer Login). To schedule an "on premise" update, fill out the Installation Questionnaire below.

Odyssey SaaS clients will be contacted by B&L's Technology Department with the update schedule.

 

Note: Odyssey users can update from any version of Odyssey to Odyssey 4.7. The Installation Questionnaire Form will help clients with the 4.7 upgrade process. Below is a link to an installation questionnaire form that you will need to complete before B&L can schedule your installation. It is imperative that you provide all of the requested information so that B&L's Support Team can verify that your system meets the prerequisites for the Odyssey 4.7 installation.

Please supply three preferred dates, in order of preference, and indicate any circumstances, such as plant shutdown, that makes one date preferable to the others. As always, B&L will schedule the upgrades in the order that they are received, while making every effort to accommodate special circumstances.
