B&L Information Systems Releases Odyssey 5.0 MR4

 

Bridgman, Michigan, June 15, 2017 - B&L Information Systems, global leader in ERP software for metalcasters, has issued Odyssey 5.0 MR4 to general availability for all users. The software improvements in this maintenance release include enhancements for both Odyssey's Windows User Interface (UI) and Web UI.

Odyssey enhancements are generated from user feedback; with Odyssey 5.0 MR 4, the enhancements range from front office requests; personalization of RFQ form e-mails in Odyssey's CRM module; to shop floor time-savers; show schedule jobs by heats. Additionally, Web UI users can now customize their home screen experience to save time.

Odyssey 5.0 MR4 information is now available via the B&L customer portal (Customer Login) for customers who host Odyssey on their own servers. Any assistance needed in the update process is free for any customers on maintenance with B&L. Odyssey customers on the B&L Cloud will be contacted by B&L's Technology Department with the update schedule, as Technology will be using this opportunity to move all Cloud users to the more secure HTTPS environment.

   

 

User Installation Instructions for Odyssey 5.0 MR4

Below is a link to an installation questionnaire form that you will need to complete before B&L can schedule your installation. It is imperative that you provide all of the requested information so that B&L's Support Team can verify that your system meets the prerequisites for the Odyssey 5.0 MR4  installation.

Please supply three preferred dates, in order of preference, and indicate any circumstances, such as plant shutdown, that makes one date preferable to the others. As always, B&L will schedule the upgrades in the order that they are received, while making every effort to accommodate special circumstances.
