Aluminum to Zinc or Brass to Stainless, Metalcasters Agree on Odyssey

Bridgman, MI, May 12, 2015 - During the first quarter of 2015, B&L Information Systems, the global leader in ERP software for metalcasters, welcomed four new U.S. customers to the Odyssey family: AFK Corporation, Dyersville Die Cast, Serv-All Die & Tool Company, and SouthEastern Foundries Corporation.

• AFK Corporation, a 50 employee iron foundry in Ripon, Wisconsin, was enticed to Odyssey SaaS (Software as a Service) through the efficiencies provided by an ERP software created for metalcasters.
• Family-owned Dyersville Die Cast of Dyersville, Iowa and Moultrie, Georgia is replacing their Sage-based ERP system with Odyssey to allow more communication on their metalcasting shop floor.
• Serv-All Die & Tool Company, an 80 employee zinc die caster in Crystal Lake, Illinois, determined the Odyssey ERP system would help them make better decisions, faster by consolidating their information into one, industry-specific ERP system.
• SouthEastern Foundries Corporation, a family-owned foundry in Greensboro, North Carolina, specializes in aluminum and bronze castings for the marine industry; the company signed with Odyssey as their first full-service, web-based ERP software.

Each of the four new B&L customers is customizing a training "go-live" plan with B&L's Professional Services team based on their specific metalcasting business's needs. The process starts with a kick-off meeting, and moves to the training process, which includes: in-person site visits from the lead project consultant, an in-person meeting with the implementation team, a thorough business process review, and finally an individualized company training plan which includes a "go-live" target date. The Odyssey ERP training can include in-person training, on-line training, and video training options, as best suits that company's go-live plan.
