Bridgman, Michigan, December 22, 2016 - B&L Information Systems, global leader in ERP software for metalcasters, announced that Odyssey has swept several categories of ERP programming awards for their achievements in the metalcasting industry.
In December, B&L Information Systems won both "Best ERP Software Provider, Indiana" while Odyssey won "Most Innovative Business Solution for Metal Casters" in the Software & Technology Awards from Corporate America. Earlier in the year, B&L also won as "Best Metalcaster ERP Software Supplier, USA" in the 2016 TMT Technology awards.
"The strength of our software is in its programming and how that matches the metalcasting industry's needs. These awards are a great recognition of the enormous amount of time and talent our R&D Department puts into B&L's software," stated Philip Laney, President and CEO of B&L Information Systems. "Our software development team actively listens to customers, whether via the Customer Feedback Forum on our website, at our Spectrum users' conference or during one-on-one meetings. This department-wide commitment to hearing the needs of the foundry and die cast industries and then incorporating those requirements into the next level of software product is why Odyssey is the leading ERP for metalcasters."
In 2016, B&L also took home a Bronze Stevie Award for Customer Service as well as a Gold Stevie among Technology Industries for their implementation process improvements, spearheaded by B&L's Professional Services Department.
