B&L Announces Q1 Odyssey Classes

 

Bridgman, Michigan, January 14, 2019 – B&L Information Systems, global leader in ERP for metalcasters, announced the Q1 2019 learning options for metalcasters using Odyssey. All B&L classes are taught using Odyssey’s Cloud-based Web UI.

In January, B&L Information System’s Professional Services department will be hosting a special one-day Inventory Control Workshop on January 15^th.  The workshop will be focused on the tools in Odyssey that companies maintain accurate casting inventory levels.

In February, the Professional Services department will host both Odyssey Boot Camp (February 19^th – 20^th) and Crystal Reports Class (February 21^st – 22^nd). Both classes are offered quarterly due to demand among the Odyssey user base and will be hosted again in May, August, and November.

• Odyssey Boot Camp is ideal for getting new staff off to a productive start or to transition staff over to Odyssey’s Web User Interface (UI). Over the course of two days, B&L implementation trainers demonstrate hands-on methods used to work in the Odyssey ERP system and assist students with company-specific questions, as well as provide a high-level overview of the integration of the entire Odyssey software system.
• Crystal Reports is a commonly used platform which expands the reach of data. B&L offers Odyssey Crystal Reports classes to help Odyssey users in: creating basic reports using data from Odyssey; modifying existing Odyssey reports to create new Odyssey reports; as well as to navigate and understand the Odyssey database structure.

In March, the Professional Services department will host a Costing Workshop on March 12^th and 13^th. This is a new class for 2019 and reflects an industry need for staying competitive in today’s marketing by having an accurate understanding of costs.

Personalized training is also available to Odyssey customers and arrangements can be made directly with the Professional Services department. Additionally, Odyssey customers can expect email updates on exclusive virtual webinars.
