Bridgman, MI, August 3, 2015 - B&L Information Systems proudly announces Jeff Cook, President of the American Foundry Society's National Board of Directors, as the keynote speaker for Spectrum 2016. Held yearly, Spectrum is B&L's premier customer education event. In 2016, Spectrum will be hosted in St. Joseph, Michigan on September 18th - 20th. Cook will take the podium for the Tuesday morning keynote address on the topic of the state of the metalcasting industry.
Jeff Cook is a respected leader in the American Foundry Society where he has been on the AFS National Board of Directors since 2011 after serving in leadership for the West Michigan AFS chapter for many years. Cook has been with Eagle Alloy of Muskegon, Michigan since 1986. After completing training in the Marine Corps Reserves in 1986, Cook went on to take classes at Muskegon Community College and with the Cast Metal Institute to supplement his real-world education at Eagle Alloy as he progressed from 3rd-shift snag grinder to Vice-President of Sales and Marketing.
