STAFF CHANGES AT B&L INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Robert Korell Joins R&D Department
Bridgman, MI, August 13, 2013 - B&L Information Systems is pleased to announce several promotions, as well as a recent addition, to the Research & Development Department.
Carol Gorbitz has been promoted to Senior Software Architect and Business Analyst. Her revised duties and responsibilities include: primary design and development of OdysseyTM business application functions; creation and review of Odyssey enhancement design specifications; and intercompany consultation on Odyssey solutions for clients. A 31-year employee of B&L, Carol brings a wealth of product experience and client design expertise to her new role.
Additionally, Brad Clark has been promoted to Odyssey Product Manager. His new duties and responsibilities include: primary responsibility for Progress Software Corporation development tools; researching and recommending back-end technologies; further development and management of Odyssey, including both full releases and maintenance releases; and coordinating Odyssey development with the user interface team. Brad joined B&L in 2000 as Software Development Engineer.
To further enhance the development of Odyssey, Robert Korell has joined the R&D Department as a dedicated OpenEdge programmer. Progress's OpenEdge business application platform is the foundation of B&L's cloud-based ERP solution, Odyssey. Robert comes to B&L with 15 years of experience working with Progress programming.
