B&L Information Systems Welcomes Batesville Products, Inc.

Bridgman, MI, December 9, 2013 - Batesville Products, Inc. (BPI) joins the ranks of Odyssey users in the metalcasting industry. Founded in 1945, the Lawrenceburg, Ind. based company offers a complete process of engineering, casting, finishing and machining for aluminium permanent mold castings from two southern Indiana locations. An additional division, Huber Industries, was acquired by BPI in 1977 and provides high-strength aluminium alloy and stainless steel mounts for reliable service in the harshest environments.

Long-time users of ERP software, this is BPI's first installation with B&L's Odyssey software. Both companies share a belief that integration leads to cost saving: B&L creates software that collects, manages and analyzes crucial metalcasting information to track costs and boost profits; while BPI provides an integrated metalcasting process for optimal results and client cost savings. By installing a foundry specific ERP solution, BPI can look forward to integrating islands of information into an efficient stream of data for greater productivity. Installation of Odyssey is projected to be complete in late 2014.
